Exchanges with 100x leverage
The data below comes from our own perp DEX research data (build date 2026-10-20). It covers decentralized perpetual venues rather than every centralized exchange. Each row carries our evidence note, a link to the venue and the date it was last checked. This is the list to use for a 100x leverage crypto exchange: every venue here lists at least 100x for some market. Rows from 500x up come first; 6 of the 25 are not marked live in the dataset (status unverified or beta) and deserve extra caution.
Disclosure. This site is operated in partnership with LeverUp, which is listed below as Featured and links to its app elsewhere on this site. Aster also lists 1001x, so the top spot is a tie. Rows are otherwise sorted by max leverage and then by name. Read the LeverUp 1001x guide for what that venue's cap covers.

Evidence quality is Limited when the venue's status is not live or the note relies on press coverage, a page title or an empty page. It does not say the venue is unsafe, only that the leverage claim is harder to verify. The ranked, filterable comparison table on the home page uses the same data for venues at 500x and above.
What "max leverage" actually applies to
A single number hides at least four limits. The dataset's own notes show them: Aster's cap "applies to that 1001x mode only", Ostium offers "up to 200x on select pairs", and PancakeSwap Perps lists 200x in "Simple Mode".
- Specific markets. The top figure is normally reserved for Bitcoin and sometimes Ethereum. Other crypto assets, forex, equities and commodities get lower caps because they are thinner or more volatile. On LeverUp, for instance, only the dedicated BTC and ETH 1001x markets reach 1001x, while SOL and XRP are at 100x and most other assets are at 50x or lower (as of 2026-10-19).
- Trading modes. Some venues put extreme leverage in a separate mode with different fees, liquidation rules or collateral options, as the Aster note above describes.
- Position size tiers. Centralized and on-chain venues both reduce maximum leverage as notional grows. A $10,000 position may get the headline cap; a $1 million position will not.
- Account and region. New accounts, certain jurisdictions and certain collateral types may be limited.
A cap also says nothing about whether the market can fill you at the price you see. At 500x and above, slippage and fees can exceed your whole liquidation cushion; see what 1000x leverage means for the numbers.
How to verify a leverage claim yourself
- Find the market, not the homepage. Open the trade ticket for the exact pair and push the leverage control to maximum. If it will not go to the number on the front page, the headline is for something else.
- Read the tier table. Look in the venue's docs for "leverage tiers", "risk limits" or "max position by leverage".
- Find the liquidation rule. A margin-loss percentage or a maintenance margin rate. Plug it into the liquidation price calculator to see how far price can move.
- Check costs. Open and close fees, spread or slippage settings and funding or holding fees. Funding can be compared on fundingrates.app.
- Look at the date. Venues change caps. The checked-at column shows when we last looked; if it is old, assume it moved.
- Start tiny. Open and close the smallest allowed position to see real fills, fees and the liquidation price the interface shows.
Choosing among them
Because the listed caps are so similar at the top (7 venues at 1000x or more), the headline number is a weak way to choose. Compare instead how each venue defines liquidation, which oracle it uses, how deep its liquidity is for the market you want, and what its fees and funding do to a position that is only a fraction of a percent away from liquidation. Then size the trade with the high-leverage risk guide, because the venue's maximum is a ceiling, not a recommendation.
